How a collection works

1. Collection. Discreet, secure collection in unmarked, GPS-tracked vehicles with CCTV.
2. Verified handling. Handled by fully vetted staff, with a full chain of custody from collection to outcome.
3. Secure shredding. Items are shredded beyond recognition at secure facilities.
4. Recovery. Shredded material follows the recovery tiers set out below.
5. Audit record. Every job gets an electronic note of secure destruction. Clients can opt for an Environmental Impact Statement showing the CO2e savings.

Recovery commitments

1. Fibre-to-fibre recycling. The first choice: shredded textiles are recycled into new yarn.
2. Extended-life use. Where fibre-to-fibre is not possible, material goes into construction products such as breeze blocks.
3. Energy recovery. Used only as a last resort, once the first two routes are not possible.

The commitment is 100% landfill diversion.
